The Alpharetta High School Foundation invests in opportunities that strengthen the Four Pillars of Excellence: Academics, Arts, Athletics, and Altruism.

Through grants, scholarships, faculty support, and campus initiatives, the Foundation helps bring ideas to life, enhance the student experience, and create lasting impact across Raider Nation.

SCHOLARSHIPS

The AHS Foundation is proud to recognize graduating seniors who demonstrate excellence, leadership, service, and commitment in areas that reflect the values of Alpharetta High School and the Raider community.

Each year, the Foundation awards five scholarships of $1,000 each—one in each of the following pillars:

  • Academics

  • Arts

  • Athletics

  • Altruism

  • CTAE

Applications open each January and are reviewed through a competitive process that includes a personal statement, academic information, activities and achievements, and a recommendation letter.

ALPHARETTA HIGH SCHOOL FOUNDATION

GRANTS

The Alpharetta High School Foundation provides grant funding to support innovative programs, projects, equipment, and initiatives that enhance the educational experience at AHS.


Grants are available to recognized school departments, programs, clubs, teams, and booster-supported organizations. Funding is intended to help bring new ideas to life, expand opportunities for students and educators, and support initiatives that may not otherwise be possible through traditional funding sources.


Projects are evaluated based on their impact on students, alignment with school goals, long-term value, and support of the Foundation's Four Pillars of Excellence:

  • Academics

  • Arts

  • Athletics

  • Altruism

 

Who Can Apply?
Applications may be submitted by AHS departments, programs, clubs, teams, and approved school-affiliated organizations.
What Makes a Strong Proposal?
Successful projects typically:

  • Enhance the educational or student experience

  • Demonstrate broad or meaningful impact

  • Align with school and Foundation priorities

  • Include a clear plan for implementation and sustainability

  • Identify other funding sources when applicable

Grant applications are reviewed throughout the school year according to the Foundation's grant schedule.

AHSF contributed $10,000 toward the marching band bus, benefiting nearly 200 students in the Raider band.
