ARTS
The arts programs of AHS were the first of all school programs to achieve national ranking. With both students and staff nationally recognized for their excellence, our fine arts programs have increased 400% since the opening of our school in 2004.

- The AHS Band program has ~ 200 members, which means it serves ~1 out of every 10 students at AHS.
- The nationally recognized AHS Orchestra program features five levels and serves another 100+ students.
- The AHS Chorus program offers beginner, intermediate, advanced and mastery level courses.
- Over 800 classroom seats are allotted to Visual Arts, with AP Art History among the most sought-after courses.
- Theatre students put on two productions a year and participate in multiple competitions.
- Dance, Music Tech and Photography are also popular, with IB and AP courses available.
- Students in the Audio-Video Technology and Film career path routinely win awards for their video, film and news productions.
